I’m Scotty O’Brien — drummer, guitarist, pianist, bassist, and the guy who’s been putting kids on stage for two decades. I’ve taught hundreds of students, built band programs from scratch, and right now I’m back on the road drumming with my brother. And I’ll teach you to speak it fluently — whether that’s your first open chord or your first sold-out show.
Lesson Packages
$120/month. Four 30-minute private lessons per month on drums, guitar, bass, or piano. Personalized lesson plans. Perfect for beginners finding their first sound. In-home or studio.
$160/month. Four 60-minute private lessons per month on any instrument. Deeper song learning, technique building, and real musicianship. Eligible for the band program. In-home or studio.
$200/month. Four 60-minute private lessons plus a weekly band rehearsal. Get matched with other students, write original music, and play real live shows. This is the full Rhythm Fire experience.
From Lessons to Live ShowsIn January 2017, four teenagers from Tacoma walked into Louie G’s Pizza in Fife for their first rehearsal. They’d never played together. By the end of summer, they were Blue Avenue — and they’d just won the Olympia Lakefair Battle of the Bands. They won it again in 2018. They recorded an album, “Sweet Dreams,” built a following of 6,500+ fans, and proved the Rhythm Fire model works. Your kid could be next.
